 E51.33D Programmable Fresh Air Controller

Application

Ruima Guofeng Yunlu|Jinan, Shandong

Characteristics

1. Ventilation for Low-Density Residential Living

Guofeng Yunlu is located in Jinan's Zhangma residential area and consists primarily of modern low-rise and mid-rise residential buildings.

For this type of improved residential environment, indoor comfort depends not only on room temperature but also on the continuous supply of clean outdoor air.

The MENRED NET250.Pro provides a ducted residential energy recovery ventilation solution designed to introduce fresh air without relying solely on opening windows.

2. 250 m³/h Residential Airflow

The NET250.Pro provides three airflow levels of approximately 120, 200 and 250 m³/h.

This airflow range makes the unit suitable for ducted residential ventilation applications where multiple rooms require organized fresh-air supply and stale-air exhaust.

Rather than applying different equipment sizes within the same installation concept, the project uses the NET250.Pro as a focused residential ventilation solution.

3. Energy Recovery During Fresh-Air Ventilation

Continuous ventilation can introduce outdoor air that differs significantly from the conditioned indoor environment.

The NET250.Pro uses a counter-flow enthalpy heat exchange core to transfer both sensible and latent energy between incoming fresh air and outgoing exhaust air.

This allows part of the heating or cooling energy contained in the exhaust air to be recovered before it leaves the building, reducing unnecessary energy loss associated with ventilation.

4. H13 Fresh-Air Filtration

Outdoor air passes through an H13 filter before being supplied to the residential space, while an H11 filter is installed on the return-air side.

This filtration configuration helps reduce airborne particulate matter entering the residence while also protecting the internal heat-exchange system.

For modern urban homes, fresh-air ventilation therefore becomes not simply an air-exchange process, but part of the overall indoor air quality strategy.

5. Low-Noise Operation for Residential Comfort

Ventilation equipment in residential buildings often operates for long periods, making acoustic performance an important design consideration.

The NET250.Pro operates at approximately 23–34 dB(A) across its three airflow levels.

Its low-speed operation is particularly suitable for bedrooms, living rooms and other residential areas where ventilation needs to continue without creating unnecessary background noise.

6. Programmable Fresh-Air Control

The E51.33D Programmable Fresh Air Controller provides the room-side interface for managing the ventilation system.

Users can manually select the required fan speed or use programmed operation to schedule ventilation according to daily living patterns.

This allows the fresh-air system to operate differently throughout the day rather than remaining at one fixed ventilation level continuously.

7. Fresh Air Without Depending on Open Windows

Opening windows can provide temporary ventilation, but it does not offer controlled filtration, energy recovery or scheduled operation.

The NET250.Pro provides a mechanical ventilation path in which incoming air is filtered before entering the residence while stale indoor air is simultaneously exhausted.

This creates a more controllable whole-home fresh air ventilation system for modern apartments.

More about the project

Chengtou Ruima Guofeng Yunlu is located in the Zhangma area of Licheng District, Jinan. The residential development reflects the area's growing focus on modern, lower-density urban living.

For residences designed around improved living quality, indoor air should not depend entirely on intermittent window opening. Bedrooms, living rooms and other occupied spaces require continuous air exchange while residents also expect quiet operation and stable indoor comfort.

MENRED NET250.Pro Energy Recovery Ventilators are used together with E51.33D Programmable Fresh Air Controllers to provide a complete residential ventilation solution.

The NET250.Pro simultaneously supplies filtered outdoor air and removes stale indoor air. During this process, its enthalpy heat-exchange core recovers part of the thermal energy from the exhaust air before it is discharged outdoors.

The fresh-air side uses H13 filtration, helping reduce airborne particles before outdoor air reaches occupied rooms. With airflow settings up to 250 m³/h and operating noise as low as approximately 23 dB(A), the unit balances ventilation capacity with the acoustic requirements of residential spaces.

The E51.33D controller adds another level of usability by allowing residents to adjust airflow and configure ventilation schedules according to everyday living patterns.

By integrating fresh-air supply, exhaust ventilation, high-efficiency filtration, enthalpy energy recovery, low-noise operation and programmable control, the project demonstrates a practical quiet residential ERV system for modern low-density housing.
