MENRED Marks 20 Years of Radiant Heating and Cooling Development

The 2025 WuHeng Industry Summit, together with the 20th Anniversary Conference of the Radiant Heating and Cooling Branch, was successfully held in Beijing, bringing together industry leaders, technical experts, and solution providers from across the building and HVAC sectors.

The event provided an important platform to reflect on two decades of progress in radiant heating and cooling technologies, while exploring future pathways for high-performance, energy-efficient, and health-oriented indoor comfort solutions.

WuHeng: A Holistic Approach to Indoor Comfort

The summit focused on the evolution of the WuHeng comfort concept, a holistic indoor climate approach that integrates stable thermal comfort, humidity control, indoor air quality, acoustic comfort, and cleanliness into one coordinated system.

Participants emphasized that radiant heating and cooling, combined with advanced ventilation and smart control, plays a key role in reducing energy consumption while delivering superior indoor comfort.

A ceremonial cake-cutting marked the 20th anniversary of the Radiant Heating and Cooling Branch, symbolising two decades of collaboration, technical advancement, and shared commitment to comfort and sustainability.

HiQs WuHeng Design Gold Award: Recognising Design Excellence

During the evening event, the HiQs WuHeng Design Gold Award, supported by MENRED Group, was presented to recognise excellence in system design, engineering coordination, and user-focused comfort solutions.

The award recognizes outstanding projects that advance human-centered design, energy efficiency, and sustainable living, while setting new benchmarks for residential comfort in the context of carbon reduction.
