Uniting Strength for Growth, Embarking on a New Low-Carbon Journey

The 2025 China HVAC Industry Conference was held in Haikou on December 11–12, bringing together industry leaders, renowned experts, and academic scholars from across China for in-depth dialogue and technical exchange.

Under the theme“Uniting Strength for Growth, Embarking on a New Low-Carbon Journey,”the conference focused on innovation-driven development and the future direction of low-carbon, high-quality HVAC and building technologies.

Highlighting Excellence in Design: HiQs Wuheng Design Gold Award

One of the key highlights of the conference was the Wuheng Summit Forum, alongside the presentation of the HiQs Wuheng Design Gold Award, which celebrates pioneering design inspired by Wuheng (五恒)—a holistic Chinese comfort concept emphasizing constant indoor temperature, balanced humidity, fresh air with lower CO₂ levels, quiet living spaces, and clean indoor environments.

The award recognizes outstanding projects that advance human-centered design, energy efficiency, and sustainable living, while setting new benchmarks for residential comfort in the context of carbon reduction.

Launch of the Wuheng Better Housing Alliance

The conference also marked the official establishment of the Wuheng Better Housing Alliance, an industry-driven collaborative platform dedicated to promoting high-quality, healthy, and low-carbon housing based on the Wuheng concept.

The first group of alliance members includes the China Academy of Building Research (CABR),MENRED Group, and other leading enterprises.

By bringing together organizations across HVAC, building technologies, and residential development, the alliance aims to foster collaboration, share best practices, and jointly explore standards and solutions for next-generation better housing.

Advancing the Future of Comfortable and Low-Carbon Living

Through keynote speeches, expert panels, and technical forums, the conference provided a high-level platform for exchanging insights on industry trends, technological innovation, and sustainable development. It reinforced the industry’s shared commitment to advancing comfort-focused, low-carbon solutions and supporting the long-term transformation of China’s built environment.
